Sarnia Lambton Workforce Development Board (SLWDB) is a community-directed, not-for-profit corporation leading Sarnia Lambton in its approach to workforce development and labour market planning.
Our mission is to grow the workforce through research and collaborative partnerships. As such, we function as a neutral broker of research, disseminator of information, and facilitator of collaborative partnership development.
Operating as part of Workforce Planning Ontario, we are one of 26 local planning board areas mandated by the Government of Ontario to conduct and disseminate local labour market research and engage community stakeholders in a planning process that supports local solutions to local issues.
